All Set For Babayemi’s Mum’s Burial In Gbongan
All is now set for the final burial of Olori Florence Ajoke Waleade Babayemi, the mother of Omooba Dotun Babayemi,an APC stalwart in Osun State.
The late Matriarch of Babayemi dynasty who breathed her last on Tuesday, 21st May, 2024, at the age of 87, will be buried in Gbongan, the headquarters of Ayedade Local Government area of the state.
Olori Babayemi who was the wife of the late royal father of Gbongan, Oba (Dr) Solomon Oyewole Babayemi, was a PhD holder in Theology and an Assistant Pastor at the Redeemed Church of God.
Her final homeward journey will be flagged off on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at RCCG Winners Assembly,Oyo Province 10 HQ, Ibadan,with a commendation service while on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at her home town, Ipetumodu, in Ife North Local Government area of the state, royal rites will be held in her honour as a princess. Her body will be received by the Chiefs and Oloris in Gbongan same day.
The Christian Wake comes up on Friday, August 2, 2024, by 4pm in Gbongan at the St. Paul’s Cathedral, Gbongan. On Saturday, 3rd August,2024, the funeral service will take place at St Paul’s Cathedral, Gbongan, by 11am.
Receptions follow as guests from Gbongan will be feted at St Paul’s School field while guests from outside Gbongan will be hosted at the Bola Babalakin Center Gbongan-Osogbo Road for their own entertainment.
Already, commendation services have held in honour of the late deceased in the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
Olori Babayemi who loved serving God and humanity, is survived by six children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
