Oyo Council Chairman, Shaba Makes History In Ona-ara LG

-Commissions First Ever Operation Burst Security Post, Two Other Projects

Another history was made on Thursday in Ona-Ara local government as the executive chairman of the council, Hon Musibau Adesina Sanusi (Shaba) commissioned Operation Burst security post on the area and two other
projects amidst funfair.

The two other projects are ; two ( 2) blocks of six (6) unit toilets each built at I.M.S Araromi Apern and CPS School Olorisaoko , and motorized borehole at Palupo which was facilitated through UNICEF to curb open defecation in the communities.

At different locations, the duo of Alararo of Araromi Apern His Royal Highness Oba Mudasiru Musa Obisesan and Oniladuntan of Laduntan His Royal Highness Oba Kamorudeen Adebowale commended the chairman for the positive transformative ideas and wisdom in transforming and repositioning the local government since the advent of his administration

The teachers and the pupils present at CPS Palupo can not hide their joy seeing the toilet commissioned at this time they needed it.

In his reaction, the NUT Chairman in the local government, Comrade Azeez Adewale commended the chairman for prioritizing education and security in the council area as laid down by the state Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde while also pledging the support of the teachers for the present administration in the state.

At the commissioning of the security post, Hon Taiwo Oke, and Hon Mufutau Ogunremi lauded the chairman (Shaba) for his steadfastness and for complementing the efforts of the state government in providing security for the his people.

The PCRC chairman in the local government and the community leaders appreciated the Council boss for fulfilling the promise made for the community and pledge their support for the security operatives that will be posted there.

In his reaction, the Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government ,Hon Musibau Adesina Sanusi (Shaba) appreciated the State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde for the opportunity given to him to serve the people of the local government and also for the peaceful coexistence being enjoyed under his administration.

Shaba also expressed gratitude to all the security agencies for their support towards maintaining law and order in the local government and the state.

The council boss further used the occasion to rally support for the PDP candidates in the local government urging the residents to vote for them for continuity of good government.

While handing over the keys, furniture and office equipment to the Operation Burst in the local government, it’s Commandant , Flight Lieutenant Haruna commended the chairman for setting a landmark history as the first chairman in the state to provide a conducive environment for their officers.

The ceremony was graced by prominent leaders in the council area among whom are the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader in local government ,Alhaji Waidi Adurodekun, the party’s chairman, Hon Mosobalaje Bakare, Hon Mufutau Ogunremi, Hon Taiwo Oke, HRH ,Oba Mudasiru Musa Obisesan, HRH Oba Kamorudeen Adebowale and HRH Oba Engr. Nureni Yusuff.
