New Era Pays Student WAEC Fees In Osun

The Managing Trustee of New Era National Islamic Propagation Center in Osun State , Dr. Abdur Rauf Adisa Kolawole JP, has presented a cheque of N37,000 for WAEC fees to a student of Islahudeen Grammar School Osogbo, Olayiwola Aminat.

Dr. Kolawole while extending humanitarian gesture paid Aminant WAEC fees whose parent could not afford to pay.

Aminat was said to be one the best students of Islahudeen Grammar School Osogbo but could not afford to pay the May/ June WAEC fees due to her financial predicament.

According to a statement signed by Mr Musbau Adedoyin, the Personal Assistant Media and strategy for new Era Dr Kolawole said he has chosen to help the less privileged ‘not because he has too much but because he knows the terrible pain of having Little or nothing’

“In furtherance of our humanitarian gesture, the Managing Trustee of New Era National Islamic Propagation Center Nigeria, Dr. Abdur Rauf Adisa Kolawole JP, has paid the WAEC fees of Olayiwola Aminat for May/June 2024 at Islahudeen Grammar School Osogbo.

Miss Olayiwola Aminat is said to be a student of Islahudeen Grammar School and has proven to be one of the best students in her school but unfortunately her parents could not afford to pay the WAEC fees. While presenting the cheque of #37,000 only to the student and her parents, Dr. Abdur Rauf Kolawole said ‘he has chosen to help less privilege people not because he has too much but because he knows the terrible pain of having Little or nothing’ , he continued, ‘he has also been in this condition before with one of his friends Dr. Saliu Akinlabi as they both went to work as farm labourer at Odemuyiwa village via garage Olode to pay their GCE A level in 1984.

He further reiterated that you only remember the past when its memory gives you joy. Dr. Kolawole quoted his popular saying “what I kept I lost, what I gave I kept” he said it gives him inner Joy and satisfaction to give out to the people out of the little that he has.

Everything in the universe does nothing except what God assigns. He makes Dua for the recipient to make good use of this golden opportunity and to be kind and merciful to people when she is in a position to assist others.

The managing trustee further said that New Era will soon begin food distribution items to widows, orphans and indigent people to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal in Nigeria.
