Rejoices With Them On Their Special Day

A Traditional ruler in yorubaland, His Royal Majesty Oba Abiola Fakoyejo Awoseemo Rogbesin the first Olu of Tafa Aperin kingdom Ife, has described the children as the God’s heritage which need more care and attention to succeed.

Oba Rogbesin, who was a former Theater performing Artist and instructor in the department of Dramatic Arts, Obafemi Awolowo university, Ile Ife made this known while fielding questions from journalists in his palace in Ife.

Speaking on the purpose of children day, the monarch said the purpose of children day does not limit in merry making alone but to let them know the importance of the future and how to walk through the right way to success without short cut which can tarnish their image

The popular producer of Oduduwa movies while congratulating the children on their day advised them to be of good behavior, God fearing, respectful to the elders, to be truthful and shun all form of social vices for better tomorrow

Oba Rogbesin who is a Cultural Ambassador Advocate charged the parents to always catch their children at a tender age in the area of cultural aspects particularly yoruba culture which will help them to overcome any challenges because the habit of greetings, respect, honour and dignity among others in yoruba culture is an ingredients to succeed in life

The Traditional ruler appealed to the parents to allows their children to choose their carrier work without much interference but with prayer and to make sure they have formal education

The monarch therefore described yoruba kingdom as superb and important.

He, therefore charged Government at all levels to intensifies efforts in making lives more bearable for the children and congratulated children for this year celebrations.
