Oyetola Mourns Death Of Osun Popular Radio Presenter, Taiwo Kekere-Ekun
-Sympathises With Fresh FM
Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola has sympathised with the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Osun State chapter over the sudden demise of one of their colleagues, the late Taiwo Kekere-Ekun.
The late journalist was the presenter of the popular children’s programme tagged ‘Kerere Akin’ on Fresh FM, Osogbo.
Oyetola said the news of the broadcaster’s death came as a rude shock, urging her colleagues to take solace in the fact that their late colleague lived well while on earth.
Kekere-Ekun passed on in the early hours of today after a brief illness. Until her death, she was an employee of Fresh FM, Osogbo.
Oyetola, in a press statement by his media aide, Ismail Omipidan, expressed his heartfelt condolences to the members of the deceased’s family and the Fresh FM’s family as well.
“The news of her death came to me as a rude shock. Truly, death is inevitable, but I want us to take solace in the fact that she lived well. At this trying times, I pray God to grant you all the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss. I also pray that God grants her soul eternal rest,” Oyetola said.
