Alternative High School For Girls: Osun NAWOJ Lauds President’s Wife, Oluremi Tinubu, Osun First Lady, Titi Adeleke On Initiative
The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Osun state Chapter has lauded the Nigeria First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and the wife of Osun State Governor, Chief Mrs. Titilola Adeleke, on the inauguration and turning of sod of the Alternative High School for Girls Initiative in Osogbo, Osun state.
In a Press statement jointly signed by the Chairperson, Comrade Abisola Ariwodola and Secretary Comrade Oluwaranti Ojewumi, the association said the initiative is a testament of the presidency Hope Renewed Initiative, RHI unwavering dedication to improving lives of young girls/women, by providing them with access to quality education and empowering opportunities.
Osun NAWOJ added that by establishing a safe and supportive learning environment, the Alternative High School for Girls Initiative will undoubtedly make a profound difference in the lives of countless girls across the states, especially out of school girls, who are captured to get education.
Comrades Abisola Ariwodola and Oluwaranti Ojewumi particularly, saluted the future impactive steps of First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and Chief Mrs. Titilola Adeleke’s visionary leadership and commitment to gender empowerment and engagement, in their various positions.
Osun NAWOJ asserted that, their collaboration on “advocacy for girls’ education serves as an inspiration to the female gender existence, adding that it highlights importance of investing in the future of the nation’s young women.”
“As members of the fourth estate of the realm, and as advocates for women’s development, inclusion and rights, Osun NAWOJ hereby passes vote of confidence on the initiative of the nation’s First Lady, Remi Tinubu, and Osun first lady, Mrs. Titi Adeleke, and it partners the role model first ladies on championing the cause of girls’ education in the state and nation.”
Similarly, Osun NAWOJ pledged its unflinching support for the Alternative High School for Girls Initiative and looks forward to witnessing its positive impact on the lives of girls in Osun state communities.
In conclusion, the female journalists association in Osun state, also gave kudos to Governor Ademola Adeleke for providing an enabling environment for the education of the targeted beneficiaries in the state.
Commending the gesture as reiteration of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s provision of quality education to Osun children irrespective of status, Osun NAWOJ affirmed that the landmark achievement will always be remembered.
