Shehu Sani Reacts To Wike’s Ultimatum FCT Beggars
Former Senator who represented Kaduna Central in the 8th National Assembly, Shehu Sani has reacted to an ultimatum issued by the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, (FCT) Nyesom Wike for beggars in Abuja to vacate the street.
Sani who spoke on Wednesday via his official X account said they represent our hidden images.
He wrote, “Chasing out Beggars from Abuja is like hiding our sickness instead of curing it Or hiding our laundry instead of cleaning it.
“The Abuja beggars don’t tarnish our image, they represent our hidden images that we don’t want the world to see.
CityMirrorNews had earlier reported that Wike decried the influx of beggars in Abuja and issued an ultimatum for them to vacate the streets with a public order from now till Sunday, October 27.
