Osun NUJ Press Week: Journalists Urged To Engage In Regular Exercise

The need for Journalists to engage in regular exercise to maintain a healthy lifestyle,has been stressed.
Osun State Coordinator, Moniepoint one of the sponsors of NUJ 2024 Health walk, Mr Olufemi Olaniyan made the call shortly after participating in the Health walk alongside members of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ, Osun State.
Mr. Olaniyan explained that most people are usually in sitting position in their place of work hence the need to engage in regular exercises for improved health system.
Mr. Olaniyan who stressed that exercise help to increase people’s lifespan especially thier customers described members of The Forth Estate of the Realm as major Stakeholders in attaining a better Society.
He assured that Moniepoint will continue to collaborate with the Union with a view to supporting small scale Businesses.
In her reaction, the Chairperson, Osun NUJ 2024 Health walk, Mrs Olawunmi Olaniyi lauded the Sponsors of the event and appreciated members of the Union for thier support as well as active participation.
Members of the Osun NUJ started the Health walk from The NUJ Press Center, walked through Capital Area, Dada Estate, Ofatedo and returned back to the Press Center.
The event had in attendance, Member Representing, Ifedayo State Constituency, Prince Kasope Abolarin represented by Miss Adedolapo Atolagbe, Mr. Kehinde Ayantunji Special Adviser to Former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on Students Affairs, The State Chairman NUJ, Mr. Wasiu Ajadosu amongst other distinguished personalities.
