Osun NUJ 2024 Award Ceremony Holds Tomorrow

Nigeria Union of Journalists, Osun State Council will tomorrow holds its Award Ceremony at NUJ press Centre by three o’clock in the evening.

A Statement by the Chairman of the Union,Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu and Secretary Comrade Adeyemi Aboderin indicates that Osun State governor, Senator Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke will be the special guest of honour at the event while the Vice Chancellor,Osun State University, Professor Odunayo Clement Adegboye will be the chairman of the occasion.

The statement noted that Olowu Kuta ,Oba Oyelude Makama is the Royal fathers of the day while some important personalities who have contributed to development of the state and humanity will be honored at the event.

The Awardees include ,A Religious leader,the presiding Bishop,Faith Trumphant Ministries, Baltimore,Maryland ,USA and Chairman Dominion group of Companies.Bishop Felix Owolabi,The NULGE President in Osun State,Doctor Kehinde Ogungbanmigbe and Osun State Commissioner for Educational,Hon Adedipo Sunday Eluwole.

Others include the former Commandant of Amotekun corps, General Bashir Adewinbi, An Educationist, Dr Morenikeji Adeleke and a community leader, Chief Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun as well as officer in charge of Anti Money laundering Unit,Mrs Folashade Odoro will also be honored at the occasion.

The statement noted that the event will be graced by Captain of industries, political fuctionaries,league of veteran Journalists,Head of media Organizations and members of the public.
