Breaking: Governor Yusuf Reinstates Sanusi As Emir Of Kano

-Gives Former Emir’s 48 Hours To Vacate Seats
Four years after Muhammadu Sanusi II was deposed as the Emir of Kano, Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has reinstated him to the throne.
In the same vein the Governor gives all the Former Emir’s 48 hours to vacate all their palaces and handed over all Emirate Councils properties to the Commissioner of Local Government who also double as State Deputy Governor.
Governor Abba Yusuf announced the decision after signing a bill dissolving emirate councils created in 2019 in the state into law.
CityMirrorNews reports that the Governor signed the State Amended Kano Emirates Bill 2024, into Law, saying the former laws that vulcanized the over 1000 years History has been repealed.
