Again, Tinubu Departs For France

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu will on Friday depart for France after swearing in Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun as the new Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN).

CityMirrorNews had earlier reported that President Tinubu returned to Nigeria after a brief work visit to France in a bid to swears-In Justice Kekere-Ekun as the new Acting CJN.
The ceremony, held at the State House in Abuja, saw Justice Kekere-Ekun become the second female to hold the position, succeeding Justice Olukayode Ariwoola who bow out of office on Thursday, August 22, at the age of 70 years.
According to the President, Kekere-Ekun will serve in an acting capacity pending Senate confirmation.
CityMirrorNews reported that Tinubu had returned earlier from France to oversee the inauguration before heading back for official engagements.
