27 Young Qur’an Memorisers Graduate From Rowdotu-t-Tanzeel Arabic School

Twenty Seven teenagers who memorised the glorious Qur’an have graduated from Rawdotu-t-Tanzeel Tahfeez Arabic School in IleIfe, Osun State.

The graduand, who are all below age of 18 have now gained the mastery of the rules governing recitation and memorization of the Glorious Qur’an and Islamic etiquettes, and were awarded certificates of completion during the official 3rd edition of graduation ceremony of the Qur’an memorization and basic education and Thannawiyyah in Arabic and Islamic Studies.

Dignitaries from within and outside Nigeria were at the event to witness the beautiful recitation of the noble Qur’an by the 27 graduates of the Islamic Institute as some guest joined the event virtually.

The memorisers of the Noble Qur’an took over the stage and sonorously read the Qur’an to the pleasure of everyone in attendance. Having arrested the minds and souls of listeners with beautiful recitation, they filled the atmosphere with the light of Allah’s Divine Guidance for Mankind.

A handful of them could not contain their emotions as tears of joy flowed freely down their eyes during the beautiful recitation of the holy Book with sonorous voices.

Speaking with our correspondent,the Director of the institution, Mallam Mutiu Uthman said the school was established for the purpose of imparting Islamic knowledge into children at early stage of their life.

While welcoming the guests to the occasion, Uthman described the successful completion of the memorisation of the Qur’an as one of the best achievements in the lives of the graduands, saying it will illuminate their paths to success. He however congratulated the graduanda and enjoined them to be committed to the Qur’an and Allah, because they just started.

The director also urged all Muslim parents to expose their children to early Islamic education due to challenges posed by the new innovations in technology and worldly things youths are confronted with on daily basis in life.

He added, “One of the goals for establishing the Arabia School is to assist parents in teaching their children the Qur’an and Arabic education also ensure that they are committed to its memorisation.

“We also have many of our memorisers who have gained admission into various Universities home and abroad including the reputable Al Azhar University in Egypt, Malaysia and even Turkiyi. According to Mallam Uthman, in addition to the Qur’an memorization classes being manned by a certified memorisers, the school has provisions for intensive Arabic studies with some other conventional subjects being handled by competent teachers.

Corroborating, the Chief Imam of Ife land, Sheikh Abdul Samii Abdulhammed, lauded the graduates for their dedication, perseverance and tireless efforts in their journey towards the memorisation of Allah’s Divine Book. He said every Muslim must embody the values and principles of the Qur’an in his or her daily life and share the message of peace, compassion and justice with the world.

While the guest Lecturer of the day, Sheikh Sirajudeen Bakrin, who is the Chief Imam of Fountain University, Osogbo, advised parents and families of graduates to appreciate Allah in every way possible, celebrate cautiously and treat each of the graduates with reverence.

He also implored the graduands to shun all forms of evil and abstain from every cause that does not align with the Qur’an which they have memorized.

The names of the graduands under thannawiyyah are; Abdullah Moyosore, Muadh Adefeso, Jafar Adefeso, Muhammad Sulayman, Abdullah Akanbi, Ahmad Abdus Salam, Basheer Roheemah, Makinde Hafsoh, Miftahudeen Hamnah and Makinde Aasiyah Others graduands under I’daadiyah are; Abdul Hakeem Royhanah, Faatimah Abdulhadi, Maryam Taofeeq, Haliyah Waliyullah, Maryam Moyosore, Maryam Abdul Lateef, Aasiyah Ridwan, Abidah Adekanye, Asmau Aadam, Asmau Shamsudeen, UmmAyman Sulayman, Hafsoh Towobola, Miqdad Ibrahim, Idris Lawal, Huwais Luqman, Abdur Rahman Adedokun and Ibrahim Adedokun.
