The Osun State Government has raised a red alert following the confirmation of Monkeypox cases in several states.

The warning was issued in a video message via the state’s official X, formerly Twitter handle, urging residents to remain vigilant and prioritise their safety.

In the message, the government provided essential information about the viral disease, stressing the importance of awareness and precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the infection within the state.
