Ondo Group Accuses Aiyedatiwa’s Kinsman Of High Handedness, Impunity
A social-political group, the Ondo South Integrity (OSI), on Tuesday, accused the Governor of Ondo state, Lucky Aiyedatiwa of giving some critical appointments to only Ilaje people in the state.
The Spokesperson of the group, Ayeloja Akinbinu, who spoke with journalists in Akure, particularly accused one, Shina Nejo, a.k.a Abugi, a brother to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of alleged high handedness, impunity and extortion of forestry guards operating in the Southern Senatorial District of the state.
Akinbinu, also alleged that the Chief of Staff to the governor, Segun Omojuwa is supporting and aiding Nejo.
He said; “Mr governor should call them to order before they finished his government. A situation where the governor’s cousin and Chief of Staff collects money from politicians lobby to get appointment needs to put to an end.
“If this continues this way, the governor might not get people’s support especially our people from the South that has been marginalized.
“The CoS is the one backing him, and this man in question, Nejo has collected about N2.5million from some set of farmers at Omotosho as rental fee and another 1.8million naira in Kajola big-road axis.”
The group, however, called on Governor Aiyedatiwa to call his brother to order.
According to them, if Aiyedatiwa fails to intervene, they will work against his ambition to get the ticket of the party.
