Female Student Found Dead After Acting As Girlfriend For N15,000
Mojisola Awesu, a 21-year-old student from Kwara State College of Health Technology, has been found dead at a refuse dump in the Aleniboro area of Ilorin.
Awesu had been hired to act as a girlfriend for a student at a party for N15,000.
Her body was discovered on August 12, following a report by local residents.
Kwara Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, revealed that Awesu had been reported missing on August 13 after failing to return from an event organized by students of Summit University and Al-Hikmah University.
She had expressed discomfort about the event location and her interactions with a student named Mr. Adebayo Happiness before her phone went silent.
The police have arrested several suspects in connection with the case, and the investigation has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further examination.
