Nigerian Army Releases Names, Photos Of 16 Soldiers Killed In Delta
The Nigerian Army on yesterday released the names and photos of 16 soldiers killed by irate youths at Okuama and Okoloba Communities in Ughelli South and Bomadi LGAs of Delta State.
Youths of the areas ambushed the military officers who came to restore peace between two warring communities.
The Defence Headquarters released the names and photos of the deceased soldiers on Monday evening.
The deceased are Lieutenant Colonel A.H. Ali, Major S.D. Shafa, Major DE Obi, Captain U. Zakari, Sgt Yahaya Saidu, Corporal Yahaya Danbaba, Cpl Yahaya Danbaba, Col Kabiru Bashir, LCol Bulus Haruna, Lal Sole Opeyemi and LCpl Bello Anas.
Others are LCpl Hamman Peter, LCpl Ibrahim Abdullahi, Pte Alhaji Isah, Pte Clement Francis, Pte Abubakar Ali, Pte Ibrahim Adamu and Pte Adamu Ibrahim.
