In a statement released by the Chairman of the State Chapter of NIPR, Mr. Ademola Adesoji, on Wednesday, July 17th, 2024, expressed the Institute’s commendation and happiness.

The NIPR Osun State Chapter assured the government and the stakeholders of its commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism in managing government information and image. The statement emphasized the dedication of its members to maintaining transparency, accountability and excellence in all communications businesses.

Furthermore, Adesoji urged the government to ensure that the new Department of Information is managed exclusively by professional public relations practitioners who are members of the NIPR. This, he argued, will ensure the department is being led by individual(s) with the vigour, requisite expertise, training, and commitment to attain ethical standards and thereby guaranteeing effective and efficient information management in the service as a whole

The NIPR Osun State Chapter also expressed its readiness to support and collaborate with the Osun State Government in making this department a model of excellence in public information management.
