‘It’s God’s Will For Us To Be Wealthy’ -UACC President Rev’d Bayo Owoyemi Tells Christians

The President and General Overseer of the United Apostolic Church of Christ, Worldwide, Rev. Dr. James Bayo Owoyemi has said it is the will of God for Christians to live a wealthy and comfortable life here on earth.

The UACC President, Rev. Dr. Owoyemi stated this during a Thanksgiving Service to commemorate the 59th Annual Convention of the church held recently in Akure, the Ondo State capital

In a statement made available to newsmen by the church’s Media Director, Pastor Paul Erakhifu, the General Overseer, in his sermon titled: “True Divine Empowerment,” drew his text from the book of Matthew 19: 26-27 and Matthew 7: 21 which emphasized that the best empowerment is to get the power to do the will of God.

According to him, whoever does the will of God would be empowered to make great exploits here on earth.

The Guest Minister, Prophet and Evangelist Gabriel Oluwarinde of United Voice of Hope Evangelical Mission encouraged Christians to be steadfast and trust in God as the only solution to all life’s challenges.

He gave testimonies of his experiences in life and how he overcame by the power of God.

In-house ministers that ministered include Rev. Samuel Duyilemi, Sunday school Superintendent, who lectured on “Lord’s strengthen. “Rev. Dr. Samuel Afolabi, Provost United International Bible Theological College, preached on “Positioned for grace and divine empowerment”, Bible study was delivered by Pastor Olaoluwa Ogunbiyi, who spoke on “Getting all through His (God’s) channel”

Also , Lagos State Public Relations Officer of the church,Pastor Moses Adeyemi, lectured on “Divine Financial Empowerment and Investment” while Rev. Mrs. Mary Owoyemi, President of UACC Ministers’ Wives and Good Women Associations, delivered a lecture on “Divine Empowerment for Christian family”

The General Evangelist of UACC, Prophet Dr. Gabriel Alo led the revival session where souls were liberated.

The choir rendered melodious gospel songs to the admiration of the congregation. The UACC mass choir was given 100 pieces of choir gown by Deaconess Adenike Olatunde, who the UACC President announced as the Grand Matron of UACC Mass Choir and would be ordained in the 2025 convention in Akure.

About 80 Elders, Deacons, and Deaconesses were ordained while three Pastors were elevated during the convention.

Also, there were talents display, revivals, meetings, drama, music ministrations, and lots of testimonies to the glory of God.

The 2024 UACC annual convention ended in grandstyle when the President and General Overseer of UACC, Rev. Dr. Owoyemi announced the theme for 2025 as PRAISE, Psalm 34:1

The church will celebrate her 60 years Diamond jubilee next year with various activities to glorify God.
