NSE Gives Gov Adeleke Pass Marks On Infrastructural Strides In Osun
The President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Engr. Margaret Aina Oguntala (FNSE), has commended Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, for utilizing local engineers to manage the state’s massive infrastructure projects.
CityMirrorNews reports that the Governor embarked on the massive projects as part of his Multi Billion Naira infrastructure plan to open Osun for investment and improve the economy of the state.
During her two-day working visit to Osun State, Oguntala inspected ongoing projects, including the Akoda, Ede Dual Carriage Way, Flyover Bridge among other laudable developmental projects.
Speaking, Oguntala who eulogized the governor for the warm welcome, described the projects as “massive and outstanding,” noting that they will benefit the masses upon completion.
Oguntala stated that the NSE National Executive Officers unanimously chose to visit Osun State to witness the infrastructure projects.
She, therefore, encouraged other state governors to emulate Governor Adeleke’s approach of using local engineers for their projects.
In his remark, the Commissioner for Special Duties and Regional Integration, Hon. B.T. Salami, representing the governor, welcomed Oguntala and expressed the governor’s eagerness to meet her at the Government House on Friday.
He reaffirmed the governor’s commitment to patronizing local engineers, ensuring they benefit from government projects.
