Hardship: No Man can solve Nigeria's Problem Except God- Prophet George Oluwoye

A cleric, Prophet (Dr) George Oluwoye has urged Nigerians to move closer to God, saying they should continue to praise and worship God despite the current hardship.

Oluwoye who said the only way to tackle the present worsening security and economic situation in Nigeria was for Nigerian people to commit the affairs of the country into the hand of God.

Prophet Oluwoye, who is the founder of the Christ Apostolic Church, Mountain of Peace and Mercy (Ori-Oke Aanu), made the appeal while addressing congregation during the 20th year anniversary of the church, in Osogbo, Osun State capital.

According to him, apart from prayers, praises is another effective way of communicating with God and getting His attention to rescue Nigerians from whatever situation they found themselves.

Prophet Oluwoye emphasized the need for all Nigerian leaders and followers to return to God to solve all challenges facing the nation, saying no human being can end Nigeria’s problems.

According to the clerics ” if we continue to place human being in the position of God, we will fail .

“If we can all return to God, He is still merciful, He will embrace us as the Father, he added.

Speaking on some testimonies of the church since its creation, Oluwoye said Christ Apostolic Church Mountain of Peace and Mercy’s mission was to fulfill the greatest assignment of the lord Jesus Christ.

Speaking at the event, a traditional ruler in Osun, Alara of Ara kingdom, Oba Olubayo Adesola Windapo who spoke on the rising cases of killing and kidnapping, called on the federal government to channel security votes of states and local governments to local authorities in order to empower them.

Commenting on the gruesome killings of traditional rulers in Ekiti and Kwara by suspected Fulani herdsmen, the monarch insisted that they (traditional rulers) understand the nooks and crannies of their domains than governors and local government chairmen, hence, they were in best position to provide security of life and property to the people.

According to the monarch “It is the local authorities, the Obas and chiefs that should be paid, we are the ones that can tell you how our terran is.

In his own view, Oba Pastor Adekoyejo Adebusoye Oyebamiji the Oluwoye of Iwoye said the country which is experiencing breach of security is under serious crisis, called on all concerned leaders to be holistic in their approach.

He stressed that the security architecture put in place should be changed so as tackle the problem of insecurity bedeviling the country.

Meanwhile, Lady Evangelist George Oluwoye used the occasion to appeal to women to always support their husbands saying behind a successful man, there is a woman.
