Adeleke Harps On Massive Infrastructures For Economic Growth

-Inspects Ongoing Oke-Fia Flyover Project

-As NSE Gives Him Pass Marks On Infrastructural Strides

Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), has commended Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke for making use of local engineers to manage the state massive infrastructure project.

NSE President, Engr. Margaret Aina Oguntala (FNSE), who gave the commendation during her two-day working visit to Osun State, applauded the infrastructural development strides of Governor Adeleke.

Oguntala who led other members of NSE to the state, inspected the ongoing projects, including Akoda, Ede Dual Carriage Way, Oke-Fia flyover among others.

Giving her assessment, the NSE President described the projects as “massive and outstanding,” noting that they will benefit the masses upon completion.

She said Governor Adeleke had fulfilled the promise he made on inception of office of launching 100 billion naira infrastructural project targeted of transforming the state into physical city roads, Local Government roads, hospitals, schools and flyovers.

Mrs Oguntala hinted that the vision and drive for progress by Governor Adeleke’ administration are commendable

“We are proud to witness the positive changes occurring across the State.

“We deeply value and appreciate your commitment. We also commend the numerous ongoing projects under your leadership, which are transforming the State, improving infrastructure, and enhancing the quality of life for the people of Osun.

Speaking, Governor Adeleke said he’s determined to take Osun to the greater hights through monumental Infrastructural projects across the state.

Adeleke emphasized the importance of infrastructure for the development of any nation, saying good infrastructure facilities economic development and good governance.

“We are convinced that economic growth and development is best achieved when the infrastructure sector is well developed. Good infrastructure facilitates economic development and good governance.

“Welcome to the state of the living spring. I am.glad you have gone round. You have seen our delivery across the construction sites. What you saw at Osogbo is small. Construction is ongoing across the 30 local governments and area council.

“In 2023, I announced an ambitious infrastructure plan across the sectors. Many doubted our capacity to implement the various projects.

“To the glory of God, we have proved critics wrong. We have shown that we have the will, the capacity and the knowledge to achieve our goals.

“We are determined to take Osun to greater heights. We have demonstrated strong passion to bridge the infrastructure gap in Osun state.

“I must also appreciate the award from the UK chapter of the Nigeria Society of Engineers. I dedicate the award to the good people of Osun state.”

NSE however bestowed award of excellence on the governor in recognition of his monumental Infrastructural projects in Osun state.
