Oluwo Lauds Gov Makinde, Adeleke, Oyetola Over Rehabilitation Of Osogbo-Iwo-Ibadan Road
The Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has commended Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun and his Oyo state counterpart, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for their commitment to rehabilitation of Osogbo-Iwo-Ibadan road.
Oba Akanbi also extended the commendation to former Governor of Osun and current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola, for initiating the road construction with his Oyo State counterpart.
Oluwo made the commendation during his assessment visit to the site of Olodo Bridge construction.
Oluwo expressed satisfaction on the quality of job done at Olodo bridge by the contractor, Peculiar Ultimate Concern Limited.
The Managing Director of the construction firm, Engr. Abel Lanre Adeleke, assured commuters and road users that one of the two bridges will be opened for use April 2024.
“I am satisfied with the quality and speed of ongoing construction at Olodo bridge. The road is acute to promote economic interaction between Osun and Oyo State. It will hugely benefit the ancient city of Iwo”
“My regular visit to the site is to encourage the contractor. The bridge, if completed will aid commercial activities in Iwo and decimate hardship faced by traders of the two states”
