Makinde Congratulates Ojo, Omowaiye On Their Appointments As CEO, Executive Director, FHA
A former member of the House of Representatives in the 7th Assembly, Hon. Rotimi Makinde has extended his warmest congratulations to Hon. Oyetunde Oladimeji Ojo and Engr. Oluremi Omowaiye on their well-deserved appointments in the Federal Housing Authority (FHA), a parastatal under the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development.
Hon. Oyetunde Ojo is the newly appointed Managing Director/CEO in FHA whilst Engr Omowaiye is now an Executive Director in Project Implementation in same parastatal.
Makinde’s congratulatory message was contained in a statement he made available to newsmen Thursday night, February 15, 2024.
President Bola Tinubu had earlier on Thursday announced the names of Hon. Oladimeji Ojo Omowaiye, and others as part of efforts to reconstitute the executive management teams of parastatals under the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development.
Makinde statement reads:
“I am happy for you my dear brothers and friends for your well-deserved appointment as Managing Director / CEO and Executive Director, Project Implementation at Federal Housing Authority (FHA), a parastatal under the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, and I also commend the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’’s vision in entrusting this crucial responsibility to individuals like you who can bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the table,” Makinde stated.
Continuing, “The Ministry of Housing plays a pivotal role in Nigeria’s economic growth and development, contributing significantly to trade, job creation, accommodation, and sustainable growth. It also helps to improve living standards and also to alleviate poverty.
“With a thorough-bred technocrats like you who had served meritoriouly at various capacities both in private and public sectors with untainted records, I think the government of Nigeria made a wise decision by appointing you and I am confident that you will bring to bear your wealth of experience to serve your fatherland with zest, passion and patriotism.
“I have no doubt absolutely that you will display excellent commitment in promoting ethical standards, transparency, and sustainable feats within the limit of your job descriptions in your new national assignments and foster a culture of integrity, success, and dignity.
“Once again, congratulations to you both on these appointments. I eagerly anticipate witnessing the positive changes and advancements that will undoubtedly result from your stewardships,” Makinde concluded.
