Court Bans 2024 Ekosin Day, Orders Beef Of Security
The Hight Court in Ikirun, has banned all preparations and celebrations ahead of 2024 Ekosin Day.
Justice I. O Adeleke made the ruling in Monday in a suit filed by Prince Bowoforola Abraham the head of Iyabilolu Ruling House against Gov. Ademola Adeleke and Ten others.
The court ruling reads, “That there should be no physical presence of people at the celebration of this year Ekosin Day.
“The fund raising can also be affected by the publication of the relevant account of No. Of Ekosin Development Association to enable donors pay into such an account.
The Court also ordered The Nigerian Police and state security service to implement strictly so that the events do not hold physically but through zoom or virtual using the instrumentality of information technology.
The court also adjourned the case to the 3rd of March, 2025.
The ruling was delivered in the presence of several sons and daughters of the community, who were in the court to witness the proceedings.
