Nigerian people have been charged to put their trust in God, remain courageous and be strong in the face of the current challenges in the country.
Clerics who spoke at the interdenominational prayer and award presentation organised by Orisunbare Community Landlord’s Association (ORIS), Orisunbare, Ede North Area Council, Osun State.
Speaking, founder of Christ Apostolic Church Mountain of Mercy and Praise, Kajola, Pastor Daniel Agbolade, stressed that this was the time to run to Christ.
He noted that there was nothing too difficult for God to do and that no matter the situation God is able and ever ready to turn it around for the best.
Agbolade, who doubles as the Chairman, Kajola Community Landlords’ Association, Kajola, said citizens of the country should not because of the current hardship and embark on cursing their leaders, rather they should commit them into the hand of God.
He, however, urged the people to move closer to God, just as he enjoined all political leaders to govern the nation with the fear of God.
According to him, “In my goodwill message I quoted Psalm 128: 1 which says Blessed those that fear God ….As to the leaders, they must lead with the fear of God and also the followers must follow the leaders that God Has appointed for them as their leaders in the community, local government, state and even at the federal level, we must lead with the fear of God.
“To govern is not an easy task it is all by the grace of God that can help leaders to succeed.
“Nigerians need to pray for our leaders for them to succeed in office. When you pray for leaders all the difficulties will be solved but when you curse the leaders things will fall apart.
“Our leaders should govern the nation with fear of God. The present situation in Nigeria is hard, people are suffering. In a country where citizens are suffering, crying of hunger, then that means something is missing.
“However, I want to appeal to Nigerian people, we must be prudent with this present economy hardship.
Speaking on the award of honour bestowed on them by the Sunmbare Community Landlord’s Association Pastor Agbolade, who is on the award recipients, appreciated the organisers of the award for counting them worthy.
He specifically dedicated the award to God almighty, his spiritual father, Dr George Oluwoye and members of executive and entire Kajola Community Landlords’ Association.

Sheikh Oladosu, however urged the Chairman of the community and other leaders to always exercise patience while handling issue that has to do with the community and its inhabitants.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Orisumbare Community Landlord’s Association, Elder Olaniyan Adeyemi charged the members of the community to continue to live in harmony for the progress of their community.
Adeyemi said, “We should try as much as possible to love ourselves because here we are, we don’t have family out neighbors are our immediate family, therefore we should live in harmony.
“The reason behind our inter-religious prayer session in the Orisumibare community is to put God first who is protecting us. We normally organize the beginning of the year prayer in this Community.
“We should try as much as possible to love ourselves because here we are there is no family here, we the residents that we are living together are family, we should live in harmony.
“I want to urge our people to continue to live in unity and harmony.
