Why I Resigned As Benue SSG- Alakali
Professor Joseph Alakali on Tuesday officially stepped down from his role as the Secretary to the Benue State Government (SSG).
Alakali’s resignation was confirmed in a statement issued on Tuesday by Sir Tersoo Kula, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor of the state, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia.
According to the statement, Alakali submitted his resignation letter on Monday, citing personal challenges as the reason for his departure.
The resignation marks the end of Alakali’s tenure, during which he served the state for a year and three months.
In accepting the resignation, Governor Alia expressed his deep appreciation for Alakali’s dedication and service.
The statement noted, “Gov. Alia expressed gratitude to Prof. Alakali for serving the state under his administration for a year and three months.”
The Governor further extended his best wishes to the outgoing SSG, praying that the Almighty grants him strength to address the personal challenges he has chosen to focus on.
