30th Anniversary: AUD Grammar School Old Students Association To Honour Orangun, Alahun
The Old Students Association (93/94 Set) of Ansar-U-Deen Grammar School, Osogbo, Osun State at its 30th anniversary on Wednesday, 18th of June, 2024, will honour the Orangun of Ila, Oba Abdulwahab Oyedotun and the Alahun of Ilahun-Ijesa, Oba Lawrence Ajayi.
A release jointly issued by the Chairman and Secretary, anniversary Planning Committee, Abass Okandeji and Kafayat Ajisafe-Olatunji respectively stated that the occasion would witness the investiture of the Orangun of Ila as the grand patron and Alahun of Ilahun-Ijesa as the patron of the 93/94 set.
The release diclosed that the principal of AUD as of that time, Alhaji S. L. Bello would be honoured with a prestigious award of excellence for his outstanding contributions to the development of the school and humanity in general.
It used the opportunity to remind the school principal including the present and all the past teachers earlier invited to honour the old students with their presence at the event.
While congratulating all members of the Old Students Association of 93/94 set home and abroad, the release enjoined them to attend promptly, the event scheduled for 10am within the premises of the school on the 3rd day of Ileya.
It however appreciated the Chairman, 93/94 Set, Prince Kayode Babaranti and his executive members, as well as the financial Secretary, Tayo Ogundeyi, the treasurer, Latifah Adigun Sanusi and other members of the 30th anniversary committee including, Jeleel Tiamiyu, Adebola Adebowale and Jeleel Adelabu for their tireless efforts towards ensuring a successful 30th anniversary.
