Osun Poly Releases New Approved School Fees

The management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, have released reviewed school fees for the institution.

In a statement issued by the Institution’s management on Wednesday, said the new approved school fees were part of the agreement reached after the engagement with government officials, school management and the leadership of the students.

The management also fixed Wednesday 10th of January to Wednesday 31st of January, 2024 as the deadline for the payment of the approved fees.

“You would recall that a meeting of Government Officials, School Management and leadership of the Students was held on Monday, 8th January, 2024 at the office of the Honourable Commissioner for Education and a new fee regime was approved by all stakeholders at the meeting. For the avoidance of doubt, the approved fees are as available in a memorandum released by the Institution’s Bursar.

The Extended Management equally met today Wednesday 10th January, 2024 to consider the approval and implementation strategies of the approved fees and therefore resolved as follows: that all newly admitted students should proceed to the Institution’s portal for the payment of the approved fees.
That the duration of payment has been fixed for between today Wednesday 10th January and Wednesday 31st January, 2024.

That no fee increment was approved for the returning students (i.e NDII, NCEII and HNDII students), as they would pay the old fee.

That lectures will commence immediately and all returning students are to mark attendance at lectures as appropriate.

That no returning students should interfere in the affairs of the newly admitted students as their fees are not in any way affected by the new fee regime.
That as a result of series of petitions, unwholesome allegations and misrepresentation on the present Independence Student Electoral Commission (ISEC), the body stands dissolved by the Management with immediate effect. All the Institution’s property in the custody of the dissolved ISEC officials should be submitted to the Students’ Affairs Directorate with immediate effect.

A robust and newly vigorated ISEC shall be constituted in due course to prepare for the conduct of the Student Union Elections.

All Students are enjoined to go about their normal academic activities as Management would not fold its hands on any breakdown of law and order in the Institution.
