NYSC Applauds Corps Member Who, Despite Losing iPhone XR, Returns iPhone 13 Pro-MAX She Found To Owner

For Corps member Adedeji Taofeekat Adebimpe, her precious iPhone SR was stolen in school before mobilisation for the national service.

She is a graduate of Microbiology from the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin.

Adedeji who was expecting her mobilisation and call-up letter for the national service felt devastated considering the cost of such a brand of phone and the economic situation in the country.

However, fortune again smiled on her as she settled for an iPhone 6X as the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme mobilised and deployed her to Ogun State for national service.

In line with the ideals of honesty, transparency, integrity, patriotism, and efficiency, the female corps member, Adedeji Taofeekat Adebimpe currently having her Orientation at NYSC Ogun State Orientation Camp in Sagamu exhibited honesty at the camp.

Miss Adedeji, who did not share in the principle of retributive or vengeful justice recovered a missing iPhone 13 Pro Max and handed it over to Camp Management for delivery to the owner.

Impressed by her conduct in truth to the NYSC scheme rules, the NYSC Ogun State Coordinator, Mrs Olayinka Nasamu commended her for being honest and enjoined other Corps Members to emulate Adedeji Taofeekat Adebimpe by exhibiting good integrity at all times and also be their brother’s keeper.

23-year-old Adedeji Taofeekqat Adebimpe is a graduate of Microbiology from the Kwara State Polytechnic Ilorin.

An indigene of Okeho in Oyo State, Adedji attended Awoyemi Commercial High School Okeho for her secondary education also in Okeho.

Adedeji says her philosophy about life is “Never stop being a good person because of bad deeds against you because no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted”.
