Speaking Abeokuta in Ogun State at inauguration of the Rescue The Vulnerable Initiative Aka Rescue Movement For New Nigeria Ogun State chapter, the Director General of the movement Martins Chiedozie Ugwu stated that “Today, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, we mark a milestone in our quest for a better Nigeria. The Rescue The Vulnerable Initiative’s expansion in the Southwest is a resounding testament to the transformative power of collective action. It’s a source of inspiration, illuminating the path to a brighter future where unity, justice, and equality reign supreme. In his words “As we inaugurate the Ogun State chapter, we’re not just building a movement – we’re crafting a new narrative for our nation. One where every voice is heard, every soul is valued, and every citizen has the chance to thrive. We’re redefining what’s possible when we come together, fueled by a burning desire for change.
“In this moment, we’re reminded that collective ambition can achieve what individual efforts cannot. The Rescue Movement’s latest milestones in the Southwest include:
– The inauguration of the Ogun State chapter on September 29, 2024
– The launch of the Ondo State chapter on September 28, 2024
– The Osun State chapter inauguration on October 26, 2024
– The Oyo State chapter launch on 22, 2024
– The Lagos State chapter inauguration on September 20, 2024
