Hajiya Dada, Mother Of Late Yar’Adua, Dies At 102
The mother of the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, popularly known as Hajiya Dada, is dead.
Hajiya Dada died yesterday evening at the ripe age of 102, after a protracted illness.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the deceased died in her matrimonial home in the Yar’adua quarters, Katsina.
One of her sons, Suleiman Musa-Yar’Adua, announced her demise yesterday in Katsina.
Hajiya Dada left behind many children, grand and great grandchildren.
Among her sons is the serving Senator representing Katsina Central Senatorial District, Senator Abdulaziz Musa-Yar’Adua.
Her funeral prayer is scheduled to be conducted today by 1.30pm.
