Rift Rumours Between Tinubu, Shettima Malicious Propaganda – Presidency
The Presidency has described the purported news reports of a rift between President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima as baseless and malicious propaganda.
Debunking the allegation in a statement issued by the Vice President’s spokesperson, Stanley Nkwocha, the Presidency condemned the reports as an unfounded smear campaign aimed at creating a false narrative of discord between the two leaders.
Nkwocha emphasized that President Tinubu and Shettima share a strong, cordial relationship, which remains unshaken by the fabricated stories circulating in some quarters.
As Vice President Shettima celebrates his 58th birthday, the Presidency reaffirmed the unity and harmony between the nation’s top two leaders, urging the public to disregard the false reports and continue to support the administration’s efforts in steering the country towards progress.
Nkwocha praised the Vice President’s loyalty to President Tinubu, saying, “In the history of Nigeria’s presidency, no Vice President has enjoyed the total confidence and full support of his principal like Shettima.
His loyalty to his boss is absolute and unalloyed.”
The statement highlighted the Vice President’s dedication and commitment to President Tinubu, setting a positive tone for their administration.
