#EndBadGovernance Protest: Osun Amotekun Assures Residents Of Adequate Security Of Lives, Property

As the #EndBadGovernance Protest hits second day Nationwide, the Corps Commander of Osun Amotekun Corps, Dr. Hon. Adekunle I Omoyele has assured the residents of Osun State of Adequate security of lives and properties.

Omoyele gave the assurance in a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of Osun Amotekun Corps, Yusuf Idowu Abass and made available to CityMirrorNews,in Osogbo, Osun State capital.

He urged the residents of the state not to panic as the youths nationwide will be protesting against the hardship experienced in Nigeria.

He said the Governor of the state, Sen. Asiwaju Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, and all the security chiefs in the state had met with all the concerned youths and stakeholders to make the protest peaceful with no chaos or violence in the state. While the concerned youths have assured the Governor and the security chiefs that the protest will be peaceful.

He assured the residents of the state that the Amotekun operatives were on standby if there is any breakdown of laws and order in any area of the state.

He also advised the residents of the state to call the attention of the Amotekun and other security agencies if there’s any security bridge in their environment.
