Ereja Square-Brewery Road, An Answer To The Yearnings Of Ijesa People- Faseru
Osun State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Mr Tola Faseru has described the flag off of Ereja Square – Brewery – Ilesa/Akure expressway road by Governor Ademola Adeleke as an answer to the yearnings of Ijesa people.
Faseru, who spoke with InsightMedia on the sideline of Ipade Imole held in Ilesa on Tuesday, said the project symbolizes the love Governor Adeleke has for Ilesa and Ijesa land.
According to him, Ilesa being the headquarters of Ijesa land needs facelift in order to propel its economic growth and improve standard of living of Ijesa sons and daughters and all residents in general.
“What the Governor has done is to demonstrate his love for Ijesa people. He has shown that he’s after the development of Ilesa and what I can only say is that Ijesa people should keep on supporting him. He has many more good plans for us and the state at large.”
The commissioner also used the medium to appreciate the Governor for bringing the Ipade Imole to the town, describing it as heart-to-heart discussion.
“The heart-to-heart discussion His Excellency just had with our people will help the government plan for bigger things ahead. The Governor has cleared the air that owners of every affected property along the road will be compensated. This is one of the fruits of this engagement.
“I thank our people for coming out en masse to welcome the governor and I also appreciate our revered fathers Ọọni of Ife, His imperial majesty Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Oba Adimula Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran and our other royal fathers present at the epic occasion for their support.”
