Fleeing Kidnappers Kill Two Best Friends In Nassarawa
Fleeing kidnappers have killed two best friends in Wulko community, Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area Nasarawa State.
It was gathered that the incident occurred around 8:00pm on Thursday, December 28, 2023 when the bandits were fleeing their hideout in a neighbouring forest following a police invasion.
The victims are Ango Habakkuk, popularly known as Ango Gentle, and Ewuga Williams Envulago.
It was learnt that a local farmer had discovered a hideout where the gunmen abduct and keep their victims for ransom.
The farmer, a woman, thereafter alerted the police who in collaboration with men of the local vigilante invaded the hideout around Ogba village.
On sighting the police, the gunmen who had killed the two men, took to their heels, leaving behind their victim, a lecturer with the Nasarawa State University, Keffi(NSUK), Isaac Igbawua.
Recall that the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Ramhan Nansel, confirmed the rescue of the lecturer who was kidnapped at his residence on Wednesday at the Old Barracks, Kokona LGA of the State.
Ewuga Williams has since been buried while the body of Ango Habbakuk, was deposited in the morgue at OLA Hospital, Akwanga.
He will be laid to rest on January 2, 2023.
