Panic As Policewoman Slumps, Loses Consciousness During Parade At Gov Otti’s Inauguration
A female police officer slumped on the pitch of Umuahia Township Stadium during the swearing-in ceremony of the new Abia State governor, Alex Otti.
According to Daily Post, the young policewoman slumped on the field while participating in the special police march organised by the Abia State Police Command.
The parade was in full swing when the officer slumped the first time. She rejoined the march, slumped again, and lost consciousness.
She was taken to a corner of the stadium for medical attention.
After she regained consciousness 10 minutes later, she was taken away on a stretcher to an undisclosed hospital in Umuahia by officials of the Nigerian Red Cross and members of the Medical Committee of the Alex Otti Inauguration.
