Opinion :Tinubu’s Presidency Is Sacrosanct; Opposition Elements Are Stretching The Patience Of Buhari’s Constitutional Powers By Adeboye Adebayo

I have studied carefully the conduct of both opposition elements since after the Presidential election in our dear country and I have come to a conclusion that both the Labour Party, LP and People’s Democratic Party, PDP are testing and stretching the patience of the constitutional powers of an outgoing President who is still sitting until his tenure expires on the 29th May, 2023.

After their fruitless blackmailing during the electioneering campaigns; “Tinubu is sick, Tinubu is frail, Tinubu’s enemy is dead, Tinubu didn’t go to school, Tinubu was not a former governor, Tinubu is ageing, Tinubu is corrupt, Tinubu does not have children, APC is bad, Naira scarcity, Fuel scarcity” they failed woefully because they were actually blackmailing the process being coordinated by Almighty God who controls the affairs of the earth.

They didn’t stop their madness at the campaigns, the LP-PDP after thought alliance moved their blackmailing shenanigans to INEC started by their agents at national collation centre challenging Ekiti Presidential election result. I wonder how PDP or LP how have that minute of thought to have won in Ekiti when Fayose; the godfather of PDP in Ekiti was campaigning day and night for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and when Obi’s dual campaign messages of ethnicity and religion did not sink into the sharp, conscious minded electors in the State, how do they think, they can win, how?

The LP-PDP devilish alliance was bitterly complaining about INEC not transmitting elections’ results to the server, why will an UNbaised INEC do that when they had the reliable intelligence that both political parties had stationed hackers home and abroad to manipulate results when transmitted to the server, so with such intelligence, how will anybody in his or her right senses expected INEC to transmit result to such server, I don’t get it, is it that this people are daft or they are arrogantly ignorant especially when a court of law in the land had made a clear pronouncement that INEC has the exclusive discretion to be in the whole charge of elections’ conduct in Nigeria including results’ transmission.

There are processes for bad losers like LP & PDP to seek redress if they feel aggrieved as laid by the constitution of the land, the law that both Atiku Abubakar & Peter Obi had sworn to uphold at different times, they claimed to have toe that honourable path, yet they are paying young Nigerians money to continue to disturb the peace of the country, they continue to incite some ignorant Nigerians against the President, against the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN & the entire judiciary and against the Incoming President, claiming the elections were rigged.

How can LP-PDP alliance substantiate allegations of elections’ rigging where the President-Elect lost his home state, where the sitting President lost his home state to the opposition, where the National Chairman of APC lost his home state to the opposition, where some APC governors lost presidential election in their states to the opposition and also lost their own election even when they were on the ballot, I don’t seem to get it.

How can Peter Obi be challenging the validity of a valid mandate freely and consciously given to Bola Tinubu by the vast majority of Nigerians because of their strongly believe in his capacity and experience to build and improve on Buhari’s progressive achievements. Not Peter Obi, not Atiku Abubakar ran a solid issues based campaigns like Tinubu & the APC both of them put together didn’t visited nooks and crannies of Nigeria like Tinubu and his campaign team did, their manifesto put together cannot stand side by side with that of our team.

We ran issue based campaigns among all Nigerians, we ran issues based campaigns in the media, all LP and PDP were doing during campaigns are to attack Tinubu’s person, propaganda. All they were doing was campaign of calumny, playing ethnic cards and that of religion.

Every Nigerians including the followers attested to the fact that Bola Ahmed Tinubu was the candidate to beat, going by the performances of the Presidential Candidates’ interaction with Nigerian Economic Summit Group where they asked them about the revitalisation of Nigerian economy in the face of our national debt. Tinubu responded by saying “I will reveal one out of many of my plans, I will remove subsidy on petroleum products and plough the money back to the system, I will ensure a single foreign exchange rate and that difference will be ploughed back to the economy, all of these will boost the revenue of the country and there will be no reasons to borrow again”.

Atiku Abubakar responded by saying he will sell all national assets, all what our forefathers worked hardly for as who Yoruba will call “akotileta”.

Peter Obi responded by saying he will borrow more, he started mentioning Bangladesh, China, USA and other countries who are hugely indebted.

Nigerians are not fools and they knew who will handle the economic of the country better, who will coordinate better the national Commonwealth of Nigeria for the prosperity of all Nigerians. All of their followers on social media attested to this fact and they all adjudged Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the best man for that job. So how will Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi and their devilish alliance think they can win at the poll.

Now they result to blackmailing at all levels, inciting innocent Nigerians against the sitting President Mohammodu Buhari, President-Elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu, INEC, Judiciary thereby committing treasonable felony and grossly violating the spirits and letters of the constitution and stretching the patience of the constitutional powers of a sitting President who has the power to use the same constitution to set their brains and that of their gullible followers.

Should they stretch this patience to the elastic limit, the sitting President may not have any option that to invoke the relevant section of the law to deal with anyone and group of persons disturbing the peace of the country and the peaceful people therein.

Well meaning Nigerians should call Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi and their evil LP-PDP alliance to order now and allow the constitutional process to run its course for the deepening of democracy in Nigeria before it is too late because the constitution has the spirits, letters and the power to call them to order and give them their size.

A word is enough for the wise, they say.
