NAWOJ S’West Mourns Death of Matron
The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, B Zone commiserate with the family of Iyalode of Yorubaland and the people of Egba land over the demise of Chief Mrs. Alaba Lawson.
A statement signed by the Zonal Vice President, Ayaba Omobola Akingbehin and Zonal Secretary, Funmi Adekoya, described the Matron of NAWOJ B zone, Chief Mrs Alaba Lawson, as an industrious and philanthropist, who will go out of her ways for the good of the people around her.
“Chief Mrs. Lawson was the former National President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture and the Iyalode of Yorubaland and the prominent educationist and founder of the popular Alaba Lawson Group of Schools, Abeokuta.
“Due to her love for issue affecting women, Chief Lawson was always ready to support activities of NAWOJ both in Ogun state and the zone”.
The NAWOJ B’ Zone registers its sincere condolences to her immediate family, the people of Egba land and the entire Yorubaland.
We pray that God console all her family, friends and business associates as well as grant her soul eternal rest.
