The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress Dr Ajibola Basiru has made it clear that the party will be back in 2026 stronger to reclaim power.

Dr Basiru asserted at the General meeting of the party for Olorunda Local Government comprising Olorunda Central, Olorunda North and Olorunda LCDA.

APC National Scribe stated that Osun has slid into backwardness through misgovernance by a stooge.

“Recall that penultimate week, the PDP was on the tenterhooks when I asked about the Federal Government’s palliative and why Adeleke has refused to add a dime to workers’ salaries.”

“The party and its hunger-stricken leaders became jittery and engaged in platitudes instead of answering the simple question.”

“It’s now public knowledge that Adeleke is being packaged for people as he is still strewn to his sister’s apron. The machinery of the Government is grounded if his sister is not in town.”

Dr Ajibola Basiru charged APC members in Osun to gird their loins and commence a serious mobilisation ahead of 2026 to save the State from an imminent collapse.

He also congratulated Osun APC on President Bola Tinubu’s victory at the Supreme Court.

“Both the Election Petition Tribunal and the Apex Court have affirmed our victory. The business of Governance now starts in earnest, with no more distractions. Rest assured that Tinubu’s policies at bringing comfort to Nigerians will be yielding positive results in no distant time.”

He also prodded APC members nationwide to ground the machinery of propaganda of the opposition by confronting them with constructive arguments, thus exposing their calumnies.

Party leaders such as Hon Adeoye Adelakun, Hon Rasaki Adeosun, Waheed Adediran, Pa Odesanmi, Felicia Omolaoye and Alhaji Kabiru Ayatullah appreciated Dr Ajibola Basiru for his efforts at breathing more life into the party. They encouraged members to strive to attend party meetings at their units and wards and be wary of those who may want to penetrate the party’s rank and file to factionalize it.
