The Osun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ, has congratulated the Spokesperson to Governor Ademola Adeleke, Mallam Olawale Rasheed on his appointment as Special Adviser to the Governor.
The Union, in a statement made available to CityMirrorNews by its Secretary, Comrade Adeyemi Aboderin described the elevation as well deserved, having served meritoriously in the last four months as Spokesperson to Governor Ademola Adeleke.
The Union also applauded the appointment of an ace broadcaster, Mr Olusola Ajala as Special Adviser, urging the duo to see their appointments as call to duty to serve the people of the state honestly and be dedicated to their principal in his quest to develop the state.
Osun NUJ, while equally felicitating others appointed into various positions by the Governor, charged them to prove their ability to deliver on the mandate given to them by joining hands with the state helmsman in changing the fortune of the state for the better and reposition it for the better in view of daunting economic challenges facing the nation.
Osun NUJ therefore promised its support to work in synergy with every strata of governance to actualize nobel objectives of the present administration in the state and makes it a pride of all.
