Eid-El-Kabir: Niger CAN Congratulates Muslim Ummahs
… Calls For Fervent Prayers To End Challenges
Niger State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Niger State Chapter has called on Muslim Ummahs to continue in their prayers so as to achieve the much desired development, peace and unity in the State.
While congratulating the Niger State Governor, Rt. Hon. Umar Mohammed Bago and millions of Muslim Ummahs in his message to commemorate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration, the State Chairman of CAN, Most Rev. Dr. Bulus Dauwa Yohanna said “it is only when there is security of lives and properties that we can all enjoy peace, growth and development in the State.
According to him, “on behalf of the entire Christendom in the State, I congratulate the Governor, Rt. Hon. Umar Bago and millions of Muslim Ummahs as you celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.
“I enjoin you all to continue fervently in your prayers especially at this period of sacrifice for an end to insecurity and for the peace of our dear State”.
The Chairman further expressed hope that the sacrifices of the season will restore the much desired peace and unity the State desired.
Furthermore, while calling on Nigerlites not to cease in praying Bishop Yohanna who is also the Catholic Bishop of Kontagora Diocese said, “with divine intervention, we will soon overcome the current challenges”.
