BREAKING: Tribunal Upturns Victory Of Senator Ademola Adeleke
The election petition Tribunal sitting in Osogbo, Osun State capital on Friday unturned the victory of Senator Ademola Adeleke, in the July 16 gubernatorial election.
Giving the majority judgement, the tribunal panel’s chairman, Justice Tersea Kume declared the election null and void after the deducting the votes that were challenged by APC candidate, Gboyega Oyetola.
He subsequently deducted the over-voting observed from the votes scored by the candidates and declared that Oyetola won the election, having polled 314, 921, while Adeleke’s score came down to 290, 266.
He however ordered the withdrawal of Certificate of Returns
