BREAKING: Ogun Amotekun Commander Is Dead
The Ogun State Commander of the Ogun State Security Network, otherwise known as the Amotekun Corps, David Akinremi has died.
CityMirrorNews learnt that, Akinremi died on Monday evening after a protracted illness.
Our correspondent gathered that Akinremi had been nursing an undisclosed ailment for quite some time until he breathed his last on Monday.
Akinremi, a retired Commissioner of Police became the pioneer commander of Amotekun in 2021 when the corps was launched in the State.
The Commander of the State-owned So-Safe Corps (a sister security agency to Amotekun), Soji Ganzallo confirmed Akinremi’s death on Tuesday.
Ganzallo described Akinremi’s death as a rude shock.
