FG Begins Evacuation Of Nigerians With Bus In Sudan
The Federal Government of Nigeria has hired luxurious buses to evacuate Nigerian students studying in Sudan.
Foreign countries rushed to evacuate their nationals from Sudan as deadly fighting raged between forces loyal to two rival generals.
The PUNCH reported that the Federal Government will on Wednesday commence the evacuation of about 5,500 Nigerians, including students stranded in Khartoum and other cities in Sudan.
In line with this, the government has released N150m for hiring 40 buses to convey its desperate citizens from Sudan to Cairo in Egypt.
Some buses arrived and the students are getting ready to be evacuated.
