Poll Opens Late in Many PUs in Plateau State

As the poll opens for the presidential and national assembly elections, many polling units in Plateau state open late as reported by our correspondent.

Visits to PUs in Jos North, Barkin Ladi, Jos East, Bassa, and Riyom Lical Government Areas indicated that polls started late.

At PUs 007 and 008, in Jos North, the poll did not commence until 8:45. At PU 001, the poll commenced at 9:18 am.
