2023: OFAADA, SHE Launch ‘Operation Call Your Neighbor To Vote In Atiku-Okowa General Elections’

…Promise To Deliver Million Votes For Atiku

The Organizing For Atiku Abubakar Development Agenda (OFAADA) in collaboration with Security, Health, Education (S.H.E) campaign has launched an Operation Call your Neighbor to vote in Atiku-Okowa for the 2023 General Elections.

The launching of the campaign was done by the Deputy Director of OFAADA 2023, Olubunmi Alarape on Wednesday at the Atlantis Event Center, in Osogbo, Osun State Capital.

Olubunmi Alarape stated that the program was a people-to-people concept organized by the OFAADA 2023 Project in collaboration with the S.H.E Campaign of Hajia Titi Abubakar.

“We were motivated once more, to pick up the gauntlet in 2022 for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar because we believe in him, in the last 12 months, we traversed the nook and corners of several states in the country conducting voter registration education and awareness”.

“During the combined exercises of voter registration and collection of PVC, we have primed 1.5million Nigerians across three geopolitical zones of Southwest, South-South, and North Central to vote on February 25th, 2023 for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar”.

“At OFAADA 2023 Project/S.H.E. campaign, we believe that the only ticket, in this year’s election that has a plan for the common man in Nigeria is the Atiku/Okowa ticket. We must work hard to put Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in Aso Villa come May 29, 2023”, she said.

“Hence, we are here today to continue that onerous task to sensitize our citizens, and Mobilize our neighbors to vote for our principal, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, for President of The Federal Republic of Nigeria on February 25, 2023”.

Adding that “Nigeria is at crossroads with insecurity, unemployment, education, and healthcare services. We have never seen our nation in the state of disunity the APC government has put her in the last 8 years. We need change and it begins with your vote on February 25, 2023”.

“Join us in this novel Operation Call Your Neighbor’ to contact your neighbors with the good news Atiku is coming! We ask that you call at least 5 people daily between now and February 25, 2023. Let us work together to rescue Nigeria from APC’s rudderless leadership of the last 8 years”, Alarape implored.

In an interview with Insight Media, she added that “even recharge cards have been distributed to the attendees, so they can call their neighbors and inform them that Atiku is the right man for change”.

Present at the event were: The Secretary to the State Government, Teslim Igbalaye, The Osun State Party Chairman of The People’s Democratic Party, Dr. Adekunle Akindele, The South West Matron for S.H.E Campaign, Modupeola Adeleke-Sanni and other stakeholders in the State.

Representing Hajia Titi Abubakar, Yeyeluwa Modupeola Adeleke-Sanni, appreciated the women, who came from different local Governments to honor the event and the convener who came from the United States of America to sensitize the residents to vote for their Presidential Candidate.

“I appreciate you all for coming today to support Atiku-Okowa Campaign. The reason we are here today is to sensitize you on a door-to- campaign, The only person who can do it is Atiku Abubakar, make sure you call your neighbors, friends, artisans, and youths in your area, market women and tell them the only viable person is Atiku”, she said.

“Make sure to get your Permanent Voters Card, PVCs, and come out on the election day which is February 25th, 2023, to vote in PDP for a change of leadership and Governance”, she implored.

The State’s Chairman of the Party, Dr. Adekunle Akindele also beseeched the attendees to vote for the man that can reform Nigeria for the better, also implored them to their PVCs, extend the sensitization to their neighborhood to have a reformed Nigeria.

The Osun State Coordinator of the Atiku Support Group, Funmiso Babarinde and Coordinator of SHE Campaign, Mr Abdulsalami Olaitan while speaking with Insight Media said ” the main purpose of gathering Women today is that women are very accessible, they can get into the minds of everybody around them through their evangelism, so we believe with this sensitization, they will propagate the news of Atiku-Okowa to everyone around them”.

The demography of voters has shown that women and youths have the largest number of voters. We believe reaching out to women will in folds, reach out to youths. Because women give birth to youths. This is when we prioritize women.
