Eid-il-Fitr: Osun CoS Rejoices with Muslim Ummah, Harps On Love, Tolerance
The Chief of Staff to Osun State Governor, Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye has urged Muslim faithfuls in the state not to jettison lesson taught during ramadan by loving one another as it was examplified by Prophet Muhammed (SWT). This is just as he rejoiced with the Islamic faithfuls on the successful completion of the 30 days fasting and prayers.
Akinleye in a statement issued and personally signed copies of which made available with newsmen in Osogbo on Friday enjoined the followers of Prophet Muhammad (SWT) to exhibit the act of tolerance and harms giving as part of what Ramadan stands for.
He averred that, ramadan, as part of pillars of Islam preaches act of love, sacrifice, and sharing with our brotherhoods which according to him should not end with the month but rather extend beyond the holy month
He said, Muslim Ummah should used the occasion of the Eid celebration to pray for the success of the current administration to excel in all the developmental programmes laid down for the people of the state.
“I urged us all to use the occasion of the eid-el-fitr celebration to pray for the administration of governor Ademola Adeleke to triumph above all his advisories who want to put brick wall on his way of fullfilling his mandate for Osun people, our government is government of the people and we are for the People, let’s pray for the better days of our dear state, as we will all enjoy the dividends”.
“I congratulate you all, my people in Islam for witnessing the begging and the end of this year Ramadan 1444AH, I pray this will not be our last one to celebrate”
