Okada Rider Found Dead After Going Missing In Osun
A commercial motorcyclist, identified as Aina Ezekiel Oluwasegun , has been found dead after going missing last week.
The young man went missing on Friday May 12, 2023 in Owode Ede, Ede North Local Council Development Area ( LCDA), Osun state.
CityMirrorNews gathered that Oluwasegun was hired by a passenger on Friday evening to an unknown destination and never returned.
After days of searching, the lifeless body of Oluwasegun was found on Saturday, May 20, 2023, inside an uncompleted building located at Oke-Ayo area, Owode Ede.
Information gathered by CityMirrorNews gathered indicates that deceased was found with bruises and wound on his head.
The perpetrators of the murder absconded with the motorbike he has been using for his Okada businesses.
Confirming the incident, the Osun State Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola said decomposing body of Oluwasegun was discovered on Saturday and was evacuated by the police.
Opalola hinted that the police have commenced investigation to unravel the mystery behind the disappearance and death of the deceased.
“The decomposing body was discovered on Saturday and it was immediately evacuated by the police.
“We have commenced investigation to unravel the mystery behind the disappearance and death of the deceased, ” Opalola
“Oluwasegun went missing on May 12 and was not seen till his decomposing body was discovered inside an uncompleted building in Oke Ayo Area, Owode-Ede, by some residents who perceived foul smell.
“Efforts made to look for him when he went missing by his colleagues but none yielded until his corpse was discovered.”
