-Declares Osun 2023 Trade Fair Open
Osun state governor, Ademola Adeleke said his administration will continue to be passionate about changing the narrative of the state from a civil service economy to a thriving industrial hub.
Adeleke disclosed this while declaring open the 2023 Osun Trade Fair organized by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
The Governor, who was represented by his deputy, Prince Kola Adewusi expressed happiness that the state under his watch, is gradually becoming an industrial hub open to many opportunities that abound in the state.
He said: “We are welcoming investors from other states and countries who are well prepared and ready to establish their business in our state for improved activities and better utilization of resources to bring about a robust and more profitable economy.
“This year’s fair is a general one for an all inclusive economy and business activities which will host participants, business men and women, industrialists and investors from all works of life from within and outside the state,” he concluded.
Earlier, in his address of welcome, Commissioner for Commerce and Industry Rev. Bunmi Jenyo described the choice of this year’s theme ” Unlocking the industrialization potentials of Osun state with focus on Agriculture, Mining and Micro, Small and Medium industries” as good and timely.
Rev. Jenyo while expressing a measure of appreciation to the state Governor for the love and support that culminated into Osun state Ministry of Commerce and Industry in organising the fair, charged participants to take advantages of the buying and selling spree that will thrive before, during and after the fair.
He described the Trade fair as a general one and it’s platform will be used to set and promote the economic development of the state through local resources and investment opportunities.
The fair which had earlier commenced on the 16th of this month will be drawn to a close on the 28th .
