JUST IN: Osun Amotekun Field Commander, Amitolu Shittu Resigns

The Field Commander of Western Security Outfit, codenamed as Amotekun, Osun state command, Comrade Amitolu Shittu has resigned.

He made his resignation known on Friday in a post sighted on his official Facebook page.

He wrote:“Still relevant taken from the immortal word of the late sage Obafemi Awolowo when he resigned from the General Yakubu Gowon Administration he said “if we are related we shall meet again”end of quote

I thank the people of Osun, I thank my friends, my wife, my family. I thank the entire Corps members importantly I will forever be grateful to Governor Gboyega Oyetola for the confidence repose in me to contribute my own quota to the development of Osun State.

“I am stepping aside from Amotekun for good, thank you all.”.
